Deja Vu, or Are You Imagining This?

5+++FlowerRemedies_Individual_Cerato.jpg

Do you ever have those deja vu moments, where you momentarily stop in time, and wonder what is going on here?

Have you ever, suddenly noticed a shop in your high street that you have never seen before?

Do you get a feeling that there is something going on, that you do not understand, and you cannot explain?

Take a moment to acknowledge these moments. These are moments in time is when your soul is working through a moment of awareness that something important is happening for you.

Take a few minutes of your day to recollect one of those events. Take out a paper and pen, and write down what happened.

How did you feel? Does what happened make sense to you? If not, walk away from your writings for the moment, and let your mind gently process what happened.

When you give your mind something to focus on, it will go off into solution mode, and start exploring the greater meaning and understanding of your experience.

At the same time, this gentler way of being will allow your brain to produce healing chemicals to lift up your feelings of well-being in your mind and in your body. The more you practice this the more uplifted you will feel, and the more energy you will have.

Why can you often, not see clearly what is happening?

Because you are asking too many questions. Your mind does not know which pattern of thought to follow. Every question has a multiple of questions and scenarios which could be explored, and with every option there is an emotional attachment to what you are asking.

Your mind will feel momentarily overloaded by the potential explanations, and this overwhelm can make you feel weary and temporarily stopped in your tracks.

If you find yourself in this place where you cannot get an understanding of what is happening, or has happened, take a few moments to bring your attention to your breath, and start to slowly and gently breathe into your stomach.

  • Think about your breath, and take slow deep breaths in, and release any stressful thoughts.

  • Say gently to yourself, ‘I breathe in calm’, as you breathe in, and ‘I breathe out stress’, as you breathe out.

The outgoing breath should be slow and deliberate, with the intention of blowing out any questions, worries, or stress your mind may be holding.

  • Repeat this for about 10 to 20 breathes, until you feel a calmness come to your mind.

  • Smile to yourself, and say, ‘Well done, (add your name)’.

Now within this calmer space, ask your mind to show you what this experience is showing you.

  • Continue to focus on your gentle deep breaths, until your mind starts to feel more still.

You may get a thought pop in, or a vision. Or you may get nothing at the moment, and that is okay.

  • Be patient, and be gentle with your mind.

  • The answer may come to you at a later time over the following days.

When you receive an insight into what the event is about, take a few minutes to write this down. This could be the start of your new healing journal, and a whole new journey for you.

Remember, when you stop asking, ‘Why’, and start saying, ‘Please show me what I need to understand’, you are giving your mind the option to explore, without preconceived thought patterns getting in the way.

Be patient and gentle with your mind, and it will give you the insights you need, at the perfect time. This perfect time, just like each experience in your life, is your Divine timing. The time when your mind and your soul are starting to listen to, and communicate with each other.

Now take this a stage further

When something happens in your life, and it makes you feel unsettled or unhappy, or you feel an emotional outburst rising within you, take yourself into the gentle deep breathing exercise above.

Allow your mind to seek out the correct answers you need, to help you get a greater understanding of what you are experiencing, and why you are reacting to this.

Take some time, either before, or after your breathing exercise

  • Write down your experience.

  • How do you feel about what happened?

  • How did you feel afterwards?

  • Record any insights you get into the experience.

Tell yourself, ‘Well done’.

Self praise really does make a difference, and starts to lift up your feelings of self worth. The more you value you, the more other people will start to value and respect you too.

How does this help me in my day to day life?

  • Helps to calm confusion, anxiety, over-reaction and stress.

  • Brings you renewed energy.

  • Brings you more clarity into your experience.

  • Allows your mind, and your body to move into a place of feeling more peace and joy

When you calm your mind, you start to heal your body
